What makes you look so tasty? Why does the enemy want to
devour you?
What has God placed inside of you that the enemy is trying to
stop?
Sometimes we feel like God must be punishing us for
something.
But is He?
No.
God is not punishing you for anything. Guess what. His only
Son, Jesus took the punishment for us, for any and everything we’ve
ever done that has grieved God. Every sin we’ve ever committed or will commit
was nailed to the cross with Jesus. This is why He had to die such a brutal
death.
I can’t even watch the scenes in movies that portray the
beating He took or the scenes of the crucifixion. It’s too brutal for me to
watch, yet Jesus didn’t think it was too brutal to endure.
Jesus and His Father agreed that He would take the punishment
that we deserve. The Romans didn’t kill Him, the Jews didn’t kill Him – He
chose to lay down His life for us.

Here’s the Good News, Jesus died so that we don’t have to.
Jesus paid our penalty so that we don’t have to!
“I write unto you, little children, because your sins
are forgiven you for His Name's sake.” – 1 John 1:12 (KJV)
Do you know what the penalty is for even the smallest of
sins?
Death; separation from God for the rest of eternity. Yes, for
even the smallest of sins!
But Jesus agreed with His Father that we were worth it, that
He should pay the penalty for us. Then, He did it. He paid the high price for
our little sins, and for our big sins and yes, even for the sins we think are
unforgiveable.
“Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the TRUTH,
and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” –
John 14:6 (NKJV)
When you come to realize this and receive this Truth into
your life, it will be the most liberating experience you’ve ever reveled in.

“Who are you to judge another’s servant? To his own
master he stands or falls. Indeed, he will be made to stand, for God is able to
make him stand.” – Romans 14:1 (NKJV)
You belong to God, HE’S your Master. He’s able to make you
stand! Hallelujah!
God is not punishing you. Satan may be tormenting you, but
God is not punishing you.
Satan is trying to silence you. Satan is trying to keep you
from fulfilling the destiny God has given you here in this world.
Are you going to let him?
“For if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our
heart, and knows all things” – 1 John 3:20 (NKJV)
In the words of the wonderful Don Francisco, according to Jude
24-25….
“To Him who is able to keep you from
falling
And present you unstained at His glorious throne
To Jesus our Savior, be glory and majesty
Power and honor to Jesus alone”
